About Me

- I am happily married to my high school sweetheart, Nathan. We have two wonderful little boys, one who now lives in heaven. On May 31st, we found Evan in his bed already with the angels. He was classified SUDC (Sudden Unexplained Death In Childhood) We have recently learned that Evan may have suffocated due to complications from having croup.I know that God has a plan in all of this. I just have to trust!

Praying for you guys...May you be able to rest in the peace of knowing that Evan is with Jesus and that during the time He entrusted this sweet boy to you, you were the most amazing, loving parents. May you have understanding that surpasses our normal human thinking and a joy that seems impossible at this point in time...
I can't imagine how hard this past Sunday was for you, for all the stressors that are going on for you. Praying that God holds you during this storm and gets you through as quickly as He can.

i don't know you, but your blog was posted on a facebook comment. a friend was wanting advice on how much medicine to give her 2 yr old boy for his croupy-cough. she was getting much advice on dosage and other options...then another friend posted "on the other hand, check out this blog." i clicked on it and read your story. i'm in tears as i write. may God Bless You and your family. i cannot imagine the heartache and pain you have endured these past 11 months. i am a mother of three toddlers. 3 year old boy/girl twins and a 2 year old boy. i will think of you each time my kids needs medicine. i am so sorry for your loss...may you somehow find the peace you need. what a beautiful and precious boy....thank you for sharing your story.
